Electronic messages to Rospatent

Dear users!

This section allows you to forward electronic messages to Rospatent. For written letters, please use the following postal address: ROSPATENT, FEDERAL SERVICE FOR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, Berezhkovskaya nab. 30-1, Moscow, G-59, GSP-3, 125993, Russian Federation.

Please read the following rules carefully before contacting Rospatent in electronic form:

1. Before sending an electronic message, we recommend you read the Answers to frequently asked questions (RUS), which may already contain the information you need.

2. To send an electronic request, you must correctly fill out the web form. We do not register or accept for consideration the following electronics messages:

   • with incomplete or inaccurate information about the sender;

   • without specifying an email address;

   • containing obscene or offensive language or threats;

   • if the text of the message is not readable or contains unclear abbreviations;

   • not addressed to Rospatent or officials of Rospatent;

   • duplicating previously accepted electronic messages;

   • applications for objects for intellectual property rights protection and relevant correspondence.

3. An acknowledgement of receipt of an electronic message or refusal of its consideration is sent to the citizen as an electronic document to the e-mail address indicated in the form.

4. Under the Federal Law “On the Procedure for Considering Appeals of Citizens of the Russian Federation” dated May 2, 2006 No. 59-FZ, the response to the request received in the form of an electronic document is sent in the form of an electronic document to the e-mail address indicated in the application. The applicant must fill in the appropriate fields of the web application form for Rospatent to send a response by e-mail.
